LIFE SCIENCE CLASS
In Grade 7, middle school students experience a science curriculum with a balance of content and activities that guide students toward the discovery of the basic principles involved with cells, cell processes, plants and animals; emphasized in Life Science with exposure to the study of force, motion, energy, and systems. Currently, students in Mrs. Hatcher’s Life Science class are learning about the basic principles of plants. Pictured below are Edmie Gonzalez and Cassie McKee in lab where they dissected star gazer lilies learning to identify male and female parts of a flower and their function in relationship to the development of seeds.
