Thank you for your interest in Wesley Academy.  The mission of the school is to provide an educational environment, which embodies the Christian faith and encourages students to reach their academic potential and achieve their personal best. We encourage all interested parents to attend a Campus Tour or Admissions Open House in the fall to begin the admission process for the 2010-11 school year.  If you are unable to attend on any of the following dates, call the school office at 713-266-3341 to schedule a private tour.

 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Receipt of Application, Application Fee, and copy of Applicant’s Birth Certificate or Passport begins the admission process. 

The following are required for grade levels listed below:

 Preschool Classes for

Three- and Four-Year Old Children

Two hour classroom visit
Speech and Language screening
 

Kindergarten

Two hour classroom visit
Speech and Language screening
WPPSI assessment
 

Grade 1

Classroom visit, 1/2 day
Speech/Language/Academic screening
WPPSI assessment
Previous report card(s) and standardized test results
Teacher Recommendation Grades 1-5 
 

Grades 2 through 5

Full day classroom visit
Speech/Language/Academic screening
WPPSI or WISC assessment
Previous report card(s) and standardized test results
Teacher Recommendation Grades 1-5 
 

Grades 6 through 8

Full day classroom visit
